Support for Elementary Schools

Elementary Schools in Huron-Kinloss are eligible to apply for funding up to a maximum of $2,500 from the Early Investment in Education and Skills program to support science, technology, math and environmental learning and enrichment initiatives for youth.

This funding is for 2024 and applications need to be received prior to December 2024 to be considered. We understand that these are uncertain times during the COVID-19 Pandemic, but our hope is to assist you and your staff to provide students the opportunity to experience a new program, learning tool set or activity and to reinforce the love of learning.

This program is funded by the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) to support education and skills training. 

Pre-approval is required.
